PAYMENT POLICY

Currency
All website prices and payments are processed in South African rand unless explicitly stated otherwise.
All prices displayed on the Giobags website are inclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable South African rate.
Accepted Payment Methods
Giobags currently accepts:
- Visa, Master Card, Debit Card
- Instant EFT
- PayJustNow
- Apple Pay, Google Pay. Samsung Pay
Card and Gateway Processing
Card payments are processed through:
- Payfast
- Wallet Doc
Giobags does not store complete card numbers, CVV codes, card PINs or one-time passwords.
Instant EFT Payments
Giobags accepts payment by Instant EFT through the secure payment option provided at checkout.
When selecting Instant EFT, customers will be guided through the payment process by our authorised payment service provider. Payment must be completed successfully through the checkout process before an order can be confirmed.
PayJustNow and Instalments
PayJustNow or another independent provider may offer payment over instalments.
Approval, repayment dates, interest, fees and qualification rules are controlled by the provider.
Before confirming an instalment purchase, review:
- Number of instalments
- Instalment amount
- Deposit
- Interest
- Fees
- Total amount repayable
- Late-payment conditions
- Provider terms
- Provider privacy policy
Where a plan is described as zero-interest, this applies only to the exact qualifying plan displayed.
Payment Verification
Orders may be held while payment or fraud checks are completed.
We may request reasonable verification but will not ask for secret banking credentials.
Failed or Reversed Payments
An order may be cancelled where payment fails, is reversed, is unauthorized or cannot be verified.
Refunds
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method.
A payment provider or bank may require additional processing time.
Financed or instalment refunds may also be subject to the provider’s reconciliation process.
