I’m a procrastinator and a bit of a perfectionist at the same time, so I spent (what may be) an unreasonable amount of time looking up and learning about the different types of hard shell luggage, as well as finding out how much each kind is likely to cost. I did this just before a short domestic trip, and before I knew it, I had very little time left to make a decision, make a payment, and wait for delivery to Gqeberha.Long story short, I knew I absolutely did not want a luggage set made from ABS materials because I wanted it to last for at least a couple of years, but its price needed to be reasonable as well. After visiting numerous websites and making many phone calls which ended in disappointment, I stumbled on Giobags. I was happy with everything I saw online and decided to bite the bullet and make one more phone call. Needless to say, I was impressed with how all my questions were answered over the phone, and I made the order right after.Within two days, I had my luggage set with me because they were kind enough to expedite delivery for me to make my trip. Now, after that trip and another, international one, I’m happy to report that my luggage set has only suffered a few, small scratches — but all the wheels are intact and functioning perfectly, and there has been no other damage. This was a welcome surprise to me because, as much as I could see that the set is well-made and I really did trust the assurances made over the phone, I’ve seen luggage sets that looked sturdier or cost much more have the wheels ripped out or have the body damaged while in transit. So, that’s why I’m making this (admittedly) long-winded review more than a month after my purchase. I’m still just really grateful for the product and service I received from Giobags.
